GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the booking and stay conditions at La Maison & l’Orangerie, operated as a guesthouse, for any reservation made directly via the website through the Amenitiz platform, by email, or by telephone.
Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A reservation becomes confirmed and binding once:
a deposit of 50% of the total stay amount has been paid (according to the conditions displayed),
or full payment, when specified at the time of booking.
The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival or upon arrival, according to the terms stated at the time of booking.
If payment is not received within the required timeframe, the establishment reserves the right to cancel the reservation without compensation.
3. No Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, accommodation services provided on a specific date or for a specific period are not subject to a right of withdrawal.
4. Cancellation Policy – Guest
Any cancellation or modification must be notified in writing (by email).
The following conditions apply:
More than 30 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit
Between 30 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total stay amount is retained
Less than 7 days before arrival: no refund
Force majeure
In the event of exceptional circumstances (serious illness, accident, travel restrictions), a stay postponement may be offered, subject to availability, with no obligation for the establishment.
5. No-show & Late Arrival
In the event of a no-show on the day of arrival, the reservation will be considered cancelled and the full amount of the stay remains due.
Any arrival after 9:00 p.m. without prior notice may result in cancellation of the reservation.
Please inform the establishment in advance in case of late arrival.
6. Cancellation by the Establishment
In the event of an exceptional cancellation beyond the control of the establishment, the guest will be fully refunded for all amounts paid, with no additional compensation.
Where possible, an equivalent accommodation solution may be offered.
7. Stay Conditions
Check-in: between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Check-out: between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
La Maison & l’Orangerie is a place of calm and relaxation. Guests are kindly asked to respect the spirit of the property and the comfort of all.
The entire establishment is non-smoking.
Any inappropriate behaviour or damage may result in additional charges.
8. Capacity & Minors
Reservations are made for a specific number of guests.
Any undeclared additional guest may result in refusal of access or an additional charge.
Our rooms are not suitable for children under 12 years old.
Minors remain under the full responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults.
9. Swimming Pool & Facilities
Access to the swimming pool and facilities is under the sole responsibility of the guests.
The establishment declines all responsibility in the event of an accident resulting from improper use or lack of supervision.
10. Rates & Tourist Tax
Rates are displayed in euros, all taxes included, excluding tourist tax.
The tourist tax, set by the local authority, must be paid on site and is collected by the establishment.
11. Liability
The establishment cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings within the property or in parking areas.
Guests are advised not to leave personal items unattended.
12. Personal Data
Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for managing the stay and in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Data is neither sold nor shared with third parties.
13. Applicable Law
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the absence of an amicable settlement, any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the location of the establishment.
